Framing module
The P18 Profile MK2 is equipped with a 130° rotatable aperture framing module that can be used to quickly and precisely create countless geometric shapes for targeted slide-off. Each of the four blades can be set independently in position and angle to the nearest degree. Since September 2023, P18 models can be ordered with one of two different framing modules:
Standard framing module All four blades close completely and can be individually turned and positioned +/- 28° independently of each other.
Theatre framing module With four shorter blades that do not close completely. On the other hand, they can be slid in at the maximum angle of +/- 30° over almost the entire usable range and thus very high setting angles can be realised.
IMPORTANT: If the P18 is not explicitly ordered with the theatre framing module, it is always made and delivered in the standard configuration.

BRILLIANT COLORS
The effects unit of the P18 Profile HP is equipped with 6 brilliant full colors and a High-CRI filter, which is replaced by a magenta color filter in the P18 Profile HC and WW. In addition, the color wheel can be seamlessly rotated at different speeds, creating great color effects and half colors.

CMY COLOR MIXING UNIT
The CMY color mixing unit of the P18 expands the color spectrum to an almost unlimited number of colors and enables absolutely harmonious color progressions or transitions.
ZOOM RANGE
The optical system of the P18 Profile guarantees absolutely sharp and unvarying beams from 6,5 – 54° (1:8.3) – regardless of light intensity and beam angle.

PRISMS
Gobos can be combined with two (indexable) prisms, 3-section circular or 5-section linear. In rotation these provide impressive images and dramatic 3D elements.

ANIMATION WHEEL
The rotating animation wheel of the P18 Profile can be used to create vibrant motion effects, the dynamics of which can be optimally controlled with the speed of rotation.

HIGH-SPEED IRIS
The motorised high-speed iris is equipped with 18 fins and can be seamlessly adjusted.
This enables an almost circular beam to be created even with a very tight iris.

JB SLIDE-IN TECHNOLOGY
Cleaning and gobo changing are child's play with the P18.
All plug-ins can be removed without tools or manual cable disconnection.

OPTIONAL: TRAVEL LIMITATION
The maximum range of motion of the P18 Profile of 540° Pan / 280° Tilt can be limited mechanically as with the M18, if required.
For this purpose, new start and end points for the pan and/or tilt movements are defined with the help of the path limiter (accessory) – corresponding devices are available at the factory.
After installing the mechanical travel limiter and subsequent “limit” reset, the new, limited range of motion is also logged by the software and automatically taken into account in future resets.
The head movement (tilt: 280°) is limited by stops that are screwed into the required position in the bolt circle.
To curtail the rotary movement (pan: 540°) , two travel limiters can be installed in the base of the lamp.
