It's the optics that count!

The Sparx 12A – based on the Sparx 12 – has been specially optimised for lighting applications. Thanks to its new optics, it is in the same league as the A12 BeamWash with its max. luminosity of 10,500 lm and a TwinZoom of 7° – 65°. But it works much faster and quieter than its legendary predecessor.

Light distribution and color mixing in the Sparx 12A are comparable to Fresnel optics and more homogeneous than in the A12. Its low levels of scattered light are also matched by its low operating noise.

Ideal beam properties

Thanks to its optical system and TwinZoom, the beam character of the Sparx 12A can be individually determined. The wash effect can be controlled flexibly and precisely from hard edge to soft edge using the TwinZoom – regardless of whether single-color or multi-color beams, with or without Beamshape. Light distribution and color mixing are impressively homogeneous. Scattered light is just as imperceptible on the Sparx 12A as operating noise – in contrast to its immensely fast head movements and zoom changes.

FIRST-CLASS LIGHTING POWER

In addition to the optimised color rendering and light distribution, the Sparx 12A is particularly impressive thanks to its optical system and its max. brightness output of 10,500 lm.

ADJUSTABLE BASIC COLOR TEMPERATURE

The basic colour temperature, which is used to mix all colours automatically, is freely selectable on the Sparx 12A, making it an excellent addition to any lighting ensemble.

TWINZOOM EFFECT

The TwinZoom can be used to zoom the outer LED ring and the inner 7 LEDs separately and also with different colors. This increases number of the lighting applications and the TwinZoom can also be used to individually adjust, i.e. change, the light distribution.

BEAMSHAPE (ACCESSORIES)

A Beamshape (initial assembly required at the factory) transforms a circular beam into an oval one. This is necessary if a pixel washer is to be used to stage rectangular or asymmetrical objects at trade fairs, for example, or to create an aisle light in a theatre.
